In the weeks that I’ve been away

I spent time either working or recuperating from what I call weeks of hell while the Olympics was going on which took over a sizeable chunk of my working life. Not to mention endless meetings and more meetings.

So in order to make up for lost time I believe I’ll be able to blog more consistently in the next few weeks. Until something comes up in the real world.

Allow me to procrastinate and think it over while I go get a nap.

Home early!

Today was a pretty good day. I’m home early! Apparently the typhoon over Hong Kong is cancelling a number of flights into China. Not that it has anything to do with me.

My hectic schedule has driven me away from my Wii Fit again. I forsee this happening for another two weeks for the duration of the Olympics.

But that doesn’t stop me from trying to read all of my RSS feeds and flagging those I want to blog about.

Gizmodo posts that Electric City Akihabara is now on Google Street Maps. Kakoii!

PS3 fans still have something to be happy about. FF Versus XIII is still a PS3 exclusive – Kotaku

I’ll see if I can post more stuffs tomorrow.

World’s First Double Arm Transplant: Man Gets Arms from Teen

Surgeons have performed the world’s first double arm transplant. The 16-hour operation was carried out last Friday on a farm worker who lost both arms in an accident. The 54-year-old man was given the arms of a teenage boy who is believed to have died in a road crash. This is amazing! Wow. I really do hope he’s doing fine. With that in mind, I would to apologize in advance for what I will write in the next few sentences.LIQUID! SNAKE! I live on through this arm!Well then, this proves that not everything in MGS2 is make believe.

Wii Fit Day 65 Test 6

Did some warm ups on the hula hoop and some balance games since that is a sticky part of my Wii Fit age.

The test was better than the last time. I wish there was a better way yo grab screen shots of my Wii Fit.

02/08/2008 by you.

My Wii Fit age isn’t that bad at all.

Spent half an hour on the slopes of We Ski. I actually broke out a sweat just going through the slopes. The slalom courses will take a little more practice though. On to tomorrow!

Dateline: Tokyo DKΣ3713

At the Square-Enix event in Tokyo, they seemed to announce things that would appease their loyal PS3 fans.

Final Fantasy XIII demo is heading for the PS3 in March 2009 which is bundled with the blu-ray version of FFVII Advent Children. This practically crushes any hope that it would be a surprise Holiday title.

Development of the Xbox 360 version will not begin until the PS3 version has been released.

PSP fans have everything to look forward to especially with Parasite Eve making it’s return.

My only problem with the announcements is that it makes me excited, next year. Sigh.

Wii Fit Day 64

I can’t believe I was able to spend an hour on the Wii Fit today.
Warm up of 3 minutes playing balance games.
Did the full yoga and strength training.
Cool down with more balance games.

Notice that I added more balance games into my regimen since the last Wii Fit Test I took. The test is now measuring the accuracy of my balance and how well and fast I can control it.

I’ll take the test again tomorrow and see what happens.
